MAKIKO's recent project titled "TRAILS TO PRAY" will be exhibited at the Atrium Gallery, London School of Economics from 24th April to 5th May, 2017.
On October 24th, Nagasaki Newspaper featured MAKIKO for her official visit to the Gunkanjima Museum and her photos (from Paradise Revisited, her recent exhibition in London) are being permanently exhibited there. Click here for more details (Japanese).

MAKIKO can't express enough how much she thank to all the visitors who came to the Atrium Gallery, London School of Economics during her 6 weeks long exhibition. And to people who encouraged and supported her to realise the exhibition such a fantastic one!
She visited Mr. Taue, the Mayor of Nagasaki City, to discuss her photography practice and upcoming exhibition on Gunkanjima in London. He and Nagasaki City requested her to display a few photos from the exhibition sequence in the Gunkanjima Museum, Nagasaki, Japan. Click here for pics.
